When we (ok, she) picked a mattress we (she again) really liked, the salesman put in a little leg work and found last year's model with a minor cosmetic blemish and saved me something like $600. When I tried to save money buy loading a king into my pickup, he offered free same day delivery to keep me from damaging the thing.
